Giving back to the community where our employees and customers live and work is an important part of C&A's culture.

Several examples of corporate and employee-driven philanthropy include:

  • Support of United Way Campaign
  • Toy drives benefiting area non-profit organizations
  • Project Fresh Start, providing new back-to-school clothes for elementary age children.
  • Annual AurElves holiday program, benefiting Ronald McDonald House, Angels Among Us, Omaha Shelters for the Homeless, The Salvation Army, Visiting Nurses Association/Street Teens program, Cooper Village Home for Boys, Maple Crest Care Center, Children's Hospital, Children's Respite Care Center, and the Nebraska Humane Society
  • Community runs/walks including Corporate Cup, NAMIWalks (National Alliance for Mental Illness), and the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure
  • Other community events such as the Corporate Cycling Challenge
  • Food drives
  • Fundraisers for colleagues in crisis situations.

In addition, C&A has two non-profit organizations in place, The Kim Foundation and Career OutReach.
