We’re Going Mobile!
C&A is excited to announce the launch of mobile websites for two of our staffing and recruiting firms, Aureus Medical Group and Celebrity Staff, m.aureusmedical.com and m.celebritystaff.com! Accessible via any web-enabled phone or smartphone, the sites offer the core information about the respective firms, areas of specialty, and career options for jobs seekers. The sites also feature a comprehensive job search tool and links to our online application. This is just the first phase of mobile website development within C&A. Sites for other business divisions are in the works!
The Kim Foundation and Its Director Receive Award
The Kim Foundation and its director, Diana Waggoner, were honored with the Recovery is Real Media Award at the Nebraska Statewide Behavioral Health Conference 2012, held May 21-23 in Lincoln, NE.
Employees Participate in Poker Walk
C&A’s wellness committee, AurHealth, organized a fun event on May 8th, our 2nd Annual Poker Walk! C&A employees walked a one-mile course over the lunch hour and earned playing cards along the way. Those with the winning hands received gift cards. What a great way to blend wellness and sunshine! Thanks, AurHealth!
Now What?
Dating back to when we were small, most of us remember our parents talking up education. We were told that if we work hard in school and persevere, we could accomplish anything we set out to do. Today, it’s important to remember that our growth and education doesn’t end once we settle into a career. It’s really just beginning.

C&A crowned our Cupcake Wars Champion on April 27th, with proceeds from cupcake sales benefiting the 2012 NAMIWalk!
Health Fair a Hit!
C&A’s annual Health Fair, held March 22nd, was a great success. Over 40 vendors offered samples, demonstrations, and information about a wide variety of products, all geared toward health and wellness.

The feel good feeling of helping others
There are many things in life that bring us joy – family, friends, successful careers, scoring the hottest ticket in town to hear your favorite band. But, right up there is knowing that something you did, purchased, or even the check you wrote, made life a little bit better and easier for someone who really needed your help. Giving is a remarkable thing and gosh, if feels good. That’s the feeling at C&A.
C&A employees weigh-in for contest
C&A Industries kicked off its annual Weigh-to-Goal weight loss contest in January. Nearly one-quarter of C&A’s workforce is participating with weigh-ins weekly and a prize drawing at the end of the 12 and 18-week competition tracks.
