C&A was founded in 1969 as a one-employee office with a focus on engineering recruitment and placement. Since then, C&A has evolved into a multi-dimensional company serving a variety of fields and industries with customers in all 50 states. C&A is the parent company to one of the largest healthcare staffing firms in the nation.

C&A’s four specialized staffing and recruitment agencies each serve their own niche markets and offer a full range of customized hiring solutions, including direct hire (full-time), Match Hire® (contract-to-hire), and contract/supplemental options. Other affiliates specialize in managed services, travel, and corporate housing. A private family foundation serves as C&A’s philanthropic arm.
