Radio Hosts Talk Omaha with C&A

At a recent all-employee event we call “Leadership”, C&A welcomed two talk radio personalities, Trenton Magid and Jeff Beals, who host “Grow Omaha”, a weekly show on KFAB.

It’s funny – you can read the papers, watch the news and still not be “in the know” about some of the amazing things going on in our community.  Trenton and Jeff gave a great presentation on what’s new, what’s happening, and what’s hot in Omaha.

It’s exciting to hear about the number of restaurants and businesses want to put down their roots in our city.  Other topics included the latest about Midtown Crossing, development in the downtown area, discussion of the new College World Series and Omaha Royals stadiums, possible scenarios for the future of Crossroads Mall, and much more.

Employees asked questions, shared some laughs, and learned much about the positive economic development right here at home.

I know I left there feeling good about Omaha, what it has accomplished and what it has planned.  It just re-affirmed for me what a great place Omaha is to live, do business, and raise a family.

So the next time you have an opportunity to support Omaha, do it.  If we all do our part, we can keep Omaha on the Grow!

If you’re interested in listening to “Grow Omaha”, tune into KFAB every Saturday morning at 8:00 a.m. or listen to their podcasts, which can be found at http://www.kfab.com/cc-common/podcast.html
