Not many can say that they’re one of the top companies worldwide for training and professional development—but C&A can! At the Training 2020 Conference & Expo in Orlando, FL, we were recognized and ranked #9 out of 125 leading global companies for our excellence in employee learning by Training magazine.
Training, which is a notable business publication for learning & development and human resources professionals, creates its ranking based on a combination of statistics, such as detailed formal programs, learning goals, and hours of training per employee annually. Not to mention, it looks at the connection between training & development efforts and business goals, objectives, and results.
This isn’t our first rodeo on the Training Top 125 list, though! In 2019, our unique development programs and strong dedication to our employee education wowed Training, landing us the #86 spot out of 125.
“One thing that’s different within C&A than within most organizations is a culture of learning that’s accepted by all,” said Liz Hall, Executive Director of Training and Medical Operations. “So we are always moving forward and creating partnerships within the organization.”
At C&A, we provide our employees initial and continued education at all levels within the organization—from entry level roles to management and executive level leadership—in order to help everyone succeed and become the best versions of themselves. And with the recent acquisition of C&A by Medical Solutions, our family and training will grow in size.
“Right now the awards we’ve received have been as C&A Industries and after the acquisition we are doubling in size,” said Hall. “So for the future, we’re looking at where we excel and how we can get more virtual and more scalable so more people from all over can get the training they need.”
