Making coffee, Justin Timberlake and complete creative freedom. In my first week as an intern at C&A Industries, I experienced two of those three things. Can you guess which two they are? This summer I am working for the top staffing company in Omaha, Nebraska- C&A Industries in the training department. Let me tell you,
In a company as large as we are it’s not always easy to pull off surprises, but every couple of months we succeed with our spontaneous “Take Fives” that bring our employees together for an afternoon (and sometimes morning) treat and camaraderie.
There’s nothing like a sweet challenge and a great cause to bring out the creativity of team C&A. For the fifth year, employees pulled out all stops for our Cupcake Wars competition, held on April 22nd. This fun event is one of a series of employee-organized fundraising initiatives benefiting NAMI Nebraska.
C&A employees turned out in big numbers to participate in the 2016 MS Walk in Omaha, NE.
C&A employees did a FANTASTIC job fundraising for the Corporate Cup event in 2015! C&A’s wellness committee, AurHealth, received an award from the American Lung Association of Nebraska for fundraising efforts this past year!
C&A was busy this week spreading lots of holiday cheer to employees by providing scrumptious cookies and delicious hot chocolate!
We’ve all heard those horror stories of internships that have gone terribly wrong. I’ve seen things online saying “They made me run to Starbucks every day to get them coffee”. These internship situations minimize the value that the intern brings to the company and do not allow the intern to get the necessary professional experience.
As I was sitting at my desk looking down at my shirt, I started to think about the color I was wearing and if it affected the way people interacted with me. I couldn’t stop thinking about it and it led me to find out more.
Sterile white floors, regal wooden desks and lecterns, a powerful judge, and hopeful young adults. This was the scene at the courthouse when I sat in on a drug rehabilitation program checkup. Going in I didn’t have clear expectations. What I saw was truly inspiring.
C&A Industries has recently been recognized as the 50th largest staffing firm in the United States by Staffing Industry Analysts, the premier research and analysis firm which covers the staffing industry.
