Sales Training Curriculum

Our widely successful Mentor Program pairs experienced employees with new employees to help provide continual support and guidance and forge a path toward success. Mentoring also offers an opportunity for our seasoned employees to demonstrate their leadership abilities.
Our series of professional development courses is available to employees across the C&A organization. Our curriculum focuses on soft skill training including communication, assertiveness, conflict resolution, giving and receiving feedback, strengths finder, working with generations in the workplace, emotional intelligence, and more.

Annual Awards Celebration
C&A employees gather each fall at an offsite location for a festive celebration recognizing individual employees and teams across our organization who have exhibited top performance over the course of the previous year. The evening culminates with recognition of our Employee of the Year.

C&A’s health and wellness program has been recognized by WELLCOM for its comprehensive approach to employee wellness. We inform, motivate, and offer opportunities for our employees to take charge of their health and incorporate wellness into their daily lives, at work and at home.
Health and Wellness Committee
Tasked with developing, organizing, and implementing a variety of wellness-related programs and events, our health and wellness committee is comprised of employees across the C&A organization and supported by executive leadership.
A resource center for employees, our dedicated wellness website is accessible via our employee intranet. We offer information about our programs, articles, recipes, feature stories, links to additional resources, and more.
Our partnership with SimplyWell, an outcomes-based wellness initiative, enhances C&A’s culture of wellness by empowering employees and providing motivation to live a healthy lifestyle. Through SimplyWell, employees are able to participate in health screenings and in confidential online health assessments as well as have access to a wide range of other tools and resources.
Our annual Health Fair, organized by our health and wellness committee, connects employees with local experts and services focused on physical, mental, spiritual, and financial health. Employees view demonstrations, sample products, ask questions, and participate in health screenings during this event held onsite at C&A’s office locations.
Programs and Events
Wellness is top of mind year round at C&A. We encourage complete wellness in body, mind, and spirit through initiatives such as our Weigh-to-Goal weight loss program, onsite summer Farmers Market, regular Lunch-and-Learns, guest speakers, sponsorships and participation in walks and runs within our community, onsite flu shots and cholesterol checks, and more.
Are you ready to take a step from your college campus and make an impression in the business sector? Our internship program, Skills for Success, offers enrolled college students the opportunity to gain real-world experience and exposure with one of the Best Places to Work in Omaha.
Our program combines on-the-job performance with a professional development curriculum to help you maximize your growth and give you tangible takeaways that you can leverage following graduation. Our unique and well-rounded program also incorporates team building activities, networking, participation in company events, and community engagement.
Through our structured model, you’ll work with company leadership to set goals and identify meaningful projects that will challenge and stretch you, add value to C&A, and help you build your portfolio. You’ll work closely with managers and fellow team members while receiving the support of the program and our company throughout.
We look for bright, passionate, and resourceful students for internship roles across a variety of departments within C&A.
Our paid internships meet college credit requirements. We offer flexible hours to help you balance your internship with your class schedule and school responsibilities. Internships are offered primarily in the summer (May/June – August). Fall and spring opportunities are also available.
